The award ceremony of the “Own Your Idea Patent Hackathon Competition”, which Gürok Group launched this year for university students in cooperation with Kütahya Dumlupınar University, Kütahya Health Sciences University and Destek Patent A.Ş., was held at Kütahya Dumlupınar University.

The competition, which was organized at the high school level last year and attracted great interest, was opened to university students this year and attracted a wide participation. The competition, which aims to help young people think innovatively, develop patent awareness and reveal their entrepreneurship skills, also aims to support creative ideas that can contribute to society.

As a result of the jury evaluation, the project team named “Kegafaix” formed by students Fatih Kar, Kerem Azkeskin and Gamze Zengin won the first prize. Ezgi Kar and Şeyma Gülistan won the second prize with their project named “Nutrimind”. The “Aspira” team consisting of Ali Samet Öngen, Asaf Nedim Pınar, Emin İlkay Şeki and Mert Yıldırım won the third prize. The “Seyrita” team consisting of Kaan Eraslan, Selin Öner and Abdullah Seçgeler was awarded the Rıza Güral Special Award in 4th place, while the “Noktalı Virgül” team consisting of students Çiğdem Bakır, Arda Nar, Muhammed Cihan Işıldar and Nurullah Özatak came 5th.
