GCA Accelerated Global Growth in the First Half of 2025

Strengthened Exports through Strategic Partnerships

Strengthening its solid position in Turkey while also expanding its influence in the European market, GCA broadened its export network and entered new markets during the first half of the year. In the same period, the company also enhanced its customer portfolio, standing out with its initiatives in sustainability, digital transformation, and product innovation.

Operating in the glass packaging sector and offering innovative solutions to beverage and food producers, GCA completed the first half of 2025 with strategic growth, sustainability, and innovation-focused investments. During this period, the company not only expanded its customer portfolio but also took significant steps in digitalization and corporate transformation. While maintaining its strong presence in existing markets, GCA also increased its global reach by exporting to new markets in different geographies. This expansion demonstrated that GCA’s flexible production capabilities and customer-centric approach resonate in international markets as well.

New Products and an Expanding Portfolio
In the first half of 2025, GCA further expanded its customer base and achieved remarkable momentum in product development. Through lightweight glass technologies and special designs, the company integrated sustainability and efficiency goals into its production processes. During this period, it successfully adapted to different market dynamics with its innovative packaging solutions. In particular, new glass bottle formats developed for the water and juice segments stood out with their ease of use and environmental benefits.

Increased Sustainability Investments in the First Six Months of 2025
Placing sustainability at the core of its business model, GCA accelerated its investments in this field during the first half of 2025. A dedicated unit was established within the company to coordinate sustainability efforts, making processes more systematic and institutionalized. GCA received the “Commitment Badge” from the EcoVadis assessment and committed to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). At the same time, the installation of a solar energy system on the factory roof marked a concrete step toward transitioning to green energy.

One of the sustainability-focused projects, the reusable water bottle initiative, aimed to reduce environmental impact while also offering cost advantages. Carried out with the goal of increasing glass bottle usage in the HoReCa channel, this project seeks to create a more eco-friendly consumption chain in collaboration with GCA’s customers.

“We Have Turned Sustainability into a Strategic Priority and Innovation into Tangible Outcomes”
Evaluating GCA’s performance in the first half of 2025, GCA General Manager Dr. Abdullah Gayret stated:

“If we want to create lasting value in the glass packaging industry, it is not enough to simply produce; we must also transform, evolve, and lead. In the first six months of 2025, we strived to reflect this philosophy in every decision and process. From our supply chain to customer experience, from internal processes to industry collaborations, we have raised the bar in many areas. In line with our goal to be a market leader rather than just a market observer, we have made significant progress in numerous fields thanks to the dedicated efforts of our teams.

Today, we are talking about an organization that has made sustainability a strategic priority, embedded agility into its corporate culture, and transformed innovation into tangible results. In the coming period, we will further advance this approach meeting more solution partners both in Turkey and internationally, entering new categories, and signing projects that contribute to society, the environment, and the economy.”

From the Domestic Market to Global Ambitions: A Vision for Production
Having a presence in segments with a wide product range and high consumption potential will not only strengthen our current operational capacity but also further develop our engineering and production capabilities in the glass packaging field paving the way for growth in new geographies with new products.

In this context, our primary goals include increasing our efficiency in all stages from design to mold development, from production to quality and logistics processes while reinforcing our market competitiveness through strong coordination structures. This approach, which will support new business collaborations in the domestic market, marks a strategic milestone in GCA’s sustainable growth journey.
