Rıza Tuna Turagay

Rıza Tuna Turagay was born in 1964 in Vienna. He completed his undergraduate studies in Business Administration at Ankara University, Faculty of Political Science, and earned his master’s degree in International Banking and Finance at the University of Birmingham, UK. He began his career in 1987 at the Undersecretariat of Treasury and Foreign Trade of the Prime Ministry of Türkiye. Until 2006, he served as Trade Counselor at the Embassy of Türkiye in Washington, D.C. Between 2000 and 2006, he also held the positions of Deputy General Manager of Exports at the Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade, President of the Housing Development Administration of the Republic of Türkiye, Vice President of the Board of Emlak Konut Real Estate Investment Partnership, Deputy Undersecretary of Customs, Board Member at the Turkish Export Promotion Center, and Acting Undersecretary of Customs. From 2006 to 2019, Turagay served as a senior executive in the private sector. He then held public service roles as Deputy Minister of Trade (2019–2023), Vice President of the Board of Eximbank (2019–2023), and Chairman of the Board of Export Promotion Inc. (2021–2023). He currently serves as a Board Member in various private sector companies operating across different industries.
