Organized with the sponsorship of Gürok Group, in collaboration with Kütahya Dumlupınar University, Kütahya Health Sciences University, and Destek Patent Inc., the “Stand Up for Your Idea Patent Hackathon Competition” is bringing university students together once again in its third year. Following the training session on April 27, the competition will take place on April 28, where approximately 43 students will compete with their original projects. The winners will be announced at the award ceremony on May 13.
The countdown has begun for the third edition of the “Stand Up for Your Idea Patent Hackathon Competition,” which was launched to support young people’s innovative ideas. Organized with the sponsorship of Gürok Group, in collaboration with Kütahya Dumlupınar University, Kütahya Health Sciences University, and Destek Patent Inc., the training program will be held on April 27, followed by the competition stage on April 28. The award ceremony will take place on May 13.
Original ideas from Kütahya will come to life
The competition aims to support the realization of original ideas emerging from Kütahya and to transform them into social value. Its main objectives include enhancing young people’s innovative thinking skills, strengthening awareness of industrial property and patents, and enabling them to reveal their entrepreneurial potential. Opened to university students last year and attracting broad participation, the competition will once again bring together around 43 students from Kütahya Dumlupınar University and Kütahya Health Sciences University.
A total prize of 400,000 TL for winning teams
As a result of the jury evaluation, the top-ranking teams will receive a total cash prize of 400,000 TL. The first-place team will be awarded 120,000 TL, the second-place team 100,000 TL, and the third-place team 80,000 TL. The fourth and fifth teams will each receive 50,000 TL. The awards will be presented at a ceremony to be held on May 13 at Kütahya Dumlupınar University.
